Caerus Connect delivers executive-level career coaching, professional network development, and long-term mentoring to justice-impacted individuals and vulnerable communities.
Caerus Connect is a nonprofit organization closing the opportunity gap for the most vulnerable members of our communities. We bring services typically reserved for corporate executives, career coaching, professional networking, and sustained mentorship, to people who have been systematically locked out of them.
Our participants include individuals returning home from incarceration, people experiencing homelessness, individuals in behavioral health settings, and survivors of exploitation working to build legitimate employment histories.
The name comes from Caerus, the Greek personification of opportunity, the critical moment when change becomes possible. We exist to create more of those moments.
One-on-one coaching at the standard corporate executives receive: resume development, interview preparation, career mapping, and workplace readiness. Delivered free to every participant.
Most jobs are found through relationships. We connect participants with employers, working professionals, and mentors, building the social capital that opens doors.
Support that does not end at placement. Our mentors stay engaged through the critical first months of employment, when retention is won or lost.
Inside correctional facilities and in the community, we prepare returning citizens for the labor market before release and walk with them after.
We train and platform justice-impacted individuals with powerful stories for speaking engagements in schools, corporations, and community forums. Participants build professional speaking careers while audiences witness what transformation looks like.
People currently and formerly incarcerated in jails and prisons, receiving reentry employment services inside facilities and in the community.
Individuals in mental health facilities and hospitals for whom stable work is a cornerstone of recovery and independence.
Former sex workers building verifiable work histories and transitioning into above-board, sustainable employment.
Outreach-based engagement with street homeless individuals, connecting a path to housing stability with a path to income.
We go to the facilities, the shelters, and the streets. Engagement starts with trust, on the participant's terms, not ours.
Each participant receives individualized career coaching: skills assessment, resume building, interview preparation, and a concrete employment plan.
We plug participants into professional networks, employer partners, and mentors, the relationships that convert preparation into offers.
Mentoring continues well past the first paycheck. Retention support through the first year of employment is where outcomes are secured.
Support evidence-driven workforce development for the communities most in need. We welcome programmatic partnerships and general operating support.
Start a conversationHire motivated, coached, and supported second-chance talent. We prepare participants and stand behind them after placement.
